Kansas City Escape Rooms

What Is An Escape Room?

It's an interactive group game where participants solve a series of puzzles using clues, hints and strategy to achieve the goal of getting out of the room within a time limit, usually an hour.

At Kansas City's escape room destination, choose among distinctive themes to add to the fun. They're an ideal group activity with friends and great for team building.

What makes ours different?

Well, true to our mission and values, our escape rooms are masterfully designed to be challenging for adults while also family friendly. We do recommend the rooms for ages 12 and up. However, we are also willing to accommodate groups with a variety of ages, when adults are present to provide support and guidance. Our friendly game masters are also well trained to read the group and do a great job of providing just the right amount of help when needed.

Also, you don’t have to buy out the whole room to play. Our pricing allows for any number of people in a small group to have an escape room experience with a per person price (price slides based on number in your group). If you want a guaranteed private experience for your group, then you will want to book the whole room.

Paradise Park’s escape rooms are branded as “The Exit Room at Paradise Park.” We currently offer three options, our newest room just opened, and we have more in development. We also offer escape room-themed birthday party packages.

NEW! The Case of the Ghost Diamond

Dame Margaret Pennywhistle has lived a long life of wealth, affluence and privilege, filled with the glory and glamour of society’s rich and famous. Only the finest things fill her elegant estate, Burnwood Manor. Alone and widowed in her later years, she finds comfort in the memories contained in a few of the those precious pieces, especially her most famous and rarely seen diamond brooch, The Ghost Diamond of Zanzibar. The priceless treasure has been stolen, and you and your team of detectives have been dispatched to the residence to investigate the theft.

You’ll feel like you’ve entered a real-life version of the game of Clue. With rich woodwork, fine bookcases, and Tiffany-inspired lighting, this Kansas City escape room takes you back in time to the 1800s, when Sherlock Holmes and his dear Watson worked together, like you can, to discover all the clues you’ll need to deduce how to escape before time runs out.

The Mystery of the Whispering Woods

A renowned and controversial Sasquatch hunter has gone missing. After spending a lifetime trying to prove the existence of Bigfoot, he had supposedly done it. But not everyone is convinced. You’re part of the team that’s traveled to his remote cabin in the far Northwest to investigate his claims. In this Kansas City escape room, you must figure out how to access the cabin to determine if he had indeed succeeded in proving Bigfoot is real.

Guests are in awe when they open the door and feel like they’ve just entered the woods. From the “starlit night sky” above to the bark on the trees, the howling wolves, and the “grass” beneath your feet, it’s the look and feel of a forest. But you have to solve the puzzles “outside” in order to get inside the cabin to solve the mystery and escape!

The Email Incident

Oh no! Did you just hit “reply all?” That snarky comment wasn’t meant to go back to everyone–including the teacher you commented about! Don’t panic… In this Kansas City escape room, just solve the adventure of puzzles to help you recover the email you shouldn’t have sent. You just have to do it in time…

This science classroom conundrum inspires you to put your thinking caps on–just like you did in school, right? With its deceptively simple appearance, this room’s brainteasers will stretch your mind and get you thinking outside the box. You’ll be glad you have some friends in the room with you!
